Services we provide
Our team will talk with you to assess what support you need for your mental health. We will then help connect you to mental health services in the community.
These services may include:
- community-based support
- home-based support
- accommodation with mental health support.
If you are in crisis, or are experiencing moderate to severe mental health or addiction problems, call MHAIDS 24 hours a day, 7 days a week on 0800 745 477.

Who our service is for
Our Wellington service is for people who:
- live in the Wellington, Porirua and Kapiti areas
- have a mental health diagnosis and related support needs
- are aged 18 and over
- are current or past clients of a community mental health team.
Our Hutt Valley service is for people who:
- live in the Hutt Valley area
- have a mental health diagnosis and related support needs
- are aged 18 and over
- are current clients of our mental health services.
What to expect from our service
We will complete a needs assessment with you and arrange a referral to the best service for your needs. We will give you information about the service we are referring you to.
Referral information
You can be referred to our service by your GP or other healthcare provider.
