Community Health Forums

Waikato DHB Community Health Forums (CHFs) are made up of local people representing specific geographical regions. 

They meet three times a year, with agendas jointly developed by the local chair and a Waikato DHB appointed CHF manager.

The purpose of CHFs is to:

Waikato District Health Board engages with its communities in a range of ways, including:

open board and committee meetings with published agendas
advisory groups including the Consumer Council and Kaumatua Kaunihera
Community Health Forums that advise and support Waikato DHB on local health issues
public consultation for specific proposals or projects
actively seeking feedback so we can improve our services
